After graduating from TAFE in 2003 with a Diploma of Theatre Costume for Entertainment and Screen, Alexandra then studied Design at the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) before going on to start her own production and event design company with her business partner Brad. Having designed both sets and costumes for theatre, opera, film, television and events, Alexandra has worked with some of the country’s most prominent directors at some of the nation’s most iconic theatres and venues.  

Alexandra’s talent was recognised at TAFE, when she was awarded the TAFE NSW State Medal for the Diploma of Theatre Costume for Stage and Screen in 2004. From this, she went on to receive the William Fletcher Foundation Grant in 2006, and was successful at the Sydney Theatre Awards in 2009, winning the award for best set design for All the Blood and All the Water, and a nomination for best costume design for Gallipoli. In 2010 Alexandra received a Mike Walsh Fellowship, assisting her travels to New York for the annual design festivals.

Recently Alex has designed events and sets for clients including the international launch of Paloma Picasso’s 2010 collection for Tiffany’s, Cartier, Ernst and Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year Awards, MasterChef Live and the City of Sydney’s Chinese New Year Parade 2011.
