In 2011 TAFE NSW –Sydney Institute celebrated its 120th anniversary, since 1891 our organisation has been at the forefront of technical and vocational training in Australia.
The 120 anniversary celebrations were supported by hundreds of students and staff from across the organisation with 23 events – everything from exhibitions and waiters’ races, weird food dinners and student creative competitions to history walks. Friends, supporters and members of the community were able to see firsthand the amazing talents of our students and explore the rich history of Sydney Institute. The finale was celebrated at Sydney Town Hall on 9 November, you can get a taste of what it was like & see why our students amazed the audience.
